Method 1: YouTube Kids
Download the YouTube Kids app and go through the sign up process. Select an age group that’s appropriate, and indicate if you want the search feature enabled. Then, show your child how to use the app! The YouTube Kids app is simple and easy to navigate, and protects your kids from inappropriate content.
Method 2: Share a YouTube Account with Your Child
Go to accounts.google.com/signup and create an account specifically for your child to use on YouTube. Share access to this account with your child so they can use YouTube. This will allow you to monitor what they watch and what they search for on YouTube to ensure that they aren’t seeing adult content.
Method 3: YouTube Restricted Mode
Go to YouTube.com and sign in to the account your child uses for YouTube. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen, then click on the Restricted Mode button. Click On to enable Restricted Mode, then click Save to save your settings. Enable Restricted Mode on all the devices your child uses.
Method 4: 3rd Party Apps and Extensions
