Raising Teens can be very rough, right??? || Relate to

I was a difficult teenager! My poor mom!!! No one gives us a handbook on how to raise kids… Or is that excuse even viable anymore with a mountain of literature on how to raise kids and teens? Someone who is very close to me once said that “Whatever you are going through, someone else has gone through it and written a book about how they have conquered it.” So yes, there isn’t a consensus on how to raise kids, but there are different kinds of ways that we ought to research and then decide on which fits our family situation best. It’s really like a chocolate cake recipe, there’s countless, but if you enjoy baking, you’ve probably tried a few before settling on a trusted recipe. You may have even altered that recipe to suit your situation…Why can’t we do the same with family, parenting and marriage. My observation is that we are too quick to dismiss learning more about these subjects citing “No Consensus” as our defense. Maybe we should rethink that! Let me know what your thoughts are?
