Get involved. During pregnancy, men don’t experience the same daily reminders that they’re about to become parents as do women do please remember that.
Attend prenatal classes and every doctor visit.
Consult a financial planner. AKA budget
Build a network of positive social support.
Talk to your partner about everything.
Consider what kind of father you want to be and pray about it ..
Get hands on from the beginning.
Learn your baby’s cues and cries dad.
Connect through touch (Skin to skin helps a lot ).
Talk to your baby as often as you can.
Help with breastfeeding. ( rub her feet make sure Mom and Baby have everything they need . for the feeding )
Have some one-on-one time with the baby .
Chip in where you can. Regardless of how Mommy delivers, her body will need time to recover.
Share bottle AND diapers duties.
Take the night shift for a few nights .
Be a bouncer.
Pick up her shift.
Listen up to the words that are not said .
