The Wall Street Journal reported that the number of stay at homes dads increased by over 60% from 2003 to 2006 according to the census. In addition, Census data reported in 2008 shows that 25% of children (2.8 million out of 11.3 million) under five whose mothers are employed, are cared for by their fathers.
