Benefits of Being an Involved Father

Being an involved father has obvious benefits to children. We’ve read newspapers or seen TV programs that talk about the many benefits involved fathers are in raising a child. Involved fathers provide love, support, and comfort. Fathers usually serve as role models in their children’s lives as well affecting how well they relate to peers and adults outside the home.

Involved Dads

I came across a good article on the subject of being an involved dad on education.com and recommend you have a look. Visit: Involved dads

Thanks for posting this. I work for education.com and enjoyed reading your blog especially the section “Dad Sites”. Being involved in the day to day activities of my two girls and the fortune of having a great dad who had a great influence in my life, I can say for sure that having both parents involved has benefits not only for the child but also for the family and father themselves. Children love their dads involved in their lives, and Having a great dad gives a kid a solid foundation to achieve and do great things however small those great things might be.

I earn a lot of brownie points at home from the stuff I learn in our Fatherhood section. http://www.education.com/reference/topic/YourParentingStyle_Fatherhood/ Maybe it will be helpful for some of your readers too.
